  • Editorial Board Member-at-Large
TheSequitur.com magazine is now accepting applications for the volunteer, unpaid position of Editorial Board Member-at-Large.

Certain TheSequitur.com editors are automatically Editorial Board members. Members-at-large of varying experiences and qualifications occupy all other positions on the Editorial Board. The Editorial Board is charged with articulating the magazine’s opinions on the issues of the day. Those written opinions generally are not subject to prepublication approval by the magazine’s publisher or TheSequitur.com executive editor.

An Editorial Board member’s duties include, but are not limited to, regularly attending the weekly Editorial Board meetings; participating actively in the Board’s activities; and submitting original content to the magazine on a regular basis. Editorial Board members report to the Board’s chairperson.

Individuals interested in this unpaid, volunteer position should send a resume accompanied by a letter detailing your interest in the position and qualifications to the following address:

All submissions are governed by our Submissions Policy. Please note TheSequitur.com generally does not pay for either solicited or unsolicited submissions.

Interested in contributing?

All eligible submissions will include the contributor’s name, address, telephone number, e-mail address and a brief biographical statement. AP style is recommended for written submissions. TheSequitur.com embraces the Society of Professional Journalists Code of Ethics.

Contributors whose work is considered for publication in TheSequitur.com will be contacted by an editor prior to publication and should be prepared to electronically transmit research material, notes, etc. for review if necessary.

With an eye toward accountability, TheSequitur.com attributes all published work to the contributor by name, city and state with a short biography and e-mail contact, but will withhold e-mail contacts upon reasonable request.

TheSequitur.com will never disclose a contributor’s address or telephone number to a third-party absent the contributor’s express prior consent or an overriding operation of law.

All published articles are subject to revision for accuracy, content, libel and grammar.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all submissions become the property of Sequitur Media, LLC and, aside from fair use under United States copyright laws, cannot be published elsewhere without the express, written consent of the Publisher.
