Dwayne Robinson, a staff writer for the Palm Beach Post covering local and state government and politics, is executive editor of TheSequitur.com. He replaced former executive editor Justin Hemlepp in May 2008. Robinson sits on the magazine's editorial board but takes no position on TheSequitur.com editorials.
Born in Yonkers, N.Y., Robinson graduated from the University of Florida in 2005 with bachelor’s degrees in journalism and political science with a minor in business administration.
During college, Robinson interned at the Palm Beach Post and the Stuart News (Fla.) and reported for CNN.com, the Associated Press and the Independent Florida Alligator, the nation’s largest independently run student newspaper. Robinson was that paper’s editor in spring 2005. He also was a TheSequitur.com senior editor and assistant managing editor between January 2006 and May 2008.
Robinson lives in Port St. Lucie, Fla.
