Thiago Mattos, a teacher of English to Portuguese-speaking individuals at Berlitz, is a member-at-large of TheSequitur.com Editorial Board.
Thiago has a bachelor's degree in social sciences from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and has studied English at the University of California, Los Angeles. He also is a founding member of Poesia & Cia, a Brazilian alternative magazine.
While pursuing further studies in São Paulo, Brazil, Thiago – a music lover – keeps a blog in Portuguese, Sangue de Barata, where he writes about culture, Brazilian issues and world issues.
