It's official: "The Sopranos" has won best drama series at the 59th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards. The Primetime Emmy voters must have been the only ones to get the fade-to-black season finale of HBO's "The Sopranos." Earlier, it awarded show creator David Chase an Emmy for writing for the "Made In America" finale. No love, apparently, for the rest of the cast. Edie Falco, Michael Imperioli, Lorraine Bracco, Aida Turturro and Tony Soprano himself -- James Gandolfini -- all lost! Big upset indeed. I say we withhold Chase's Emmy, however, until he reveals how the show really ended.
HBO tied ABC for Emmy wins, but the big winner of the night was NBC. The peacock network is back and big. See full results here.
Here is the network breakdown of Emmy wins: NBC: 10 HBO: 6 ABC: 6 PBS: 3 AMC: 3 USA: 2 Comedy Central: 1 Fox: 0 (zip, nada, zero) Har, Har.
Top 10 moments of the 59th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards 1. Opening music number by Stewie and Brian Griffin of Fox's "Family Guy." 2. Possible baby bump of Christina Aguilera. Maybe the pregnancy rumors aren't rumors after all? 3. Honoring of the 30-year anniversary of "Roots" by Queen Latifah. 4. Hayden Panettiere. ... That's it. Just seeing the cheerleader from "Heroes" all glammed up makes the list. 5. "The Sopranos" clan reunited -- hopefully not for the last time -- on stage. 6. Former Vice President Al Gore makes a convenient appearance for a possible presidential run. 7. Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert giving the best actor in a Comedy series award to their former "Daily Show" cast mate Steve Carrell, when the award's actual winner Ricky Gervais was a no show. 8. In Memoriam: Honoring the fallen (of the small screen, that is). What? We're at war too? 9. Tina Fey, of the Best Comedy "30 Rock" thanks her show's "dozens and dozens" of fans. Classic. 10. "The Sopranos" wins best drama. This is reportedly the first time a drama won that honor for its final season. Much deserved indeed. [See full results] - OJ did it … again (allegedly)

Las Vegas police arrested former NFL star and ex-double murder defendant Sunday for allegedly being a party to an armed robbery of sports memorabilia in a casino. Simpson is reportedly saying some of the memorabilia was stolen from him and he was involved in a sting operation to reclaim them.
