We live in a great age of technology and multimedia, which provides us gratifications of all sorts, sizes and shapes. We know that progress has helped to aid the handicapped – prostheses, surgeries, etc. have all helped to make a better life for those who are less fortunate than most. Now technology has provided something more than just hearing aids and implants for the hard-of-hearing: deaf porn.

The world’s first deaf-owned and deaf-staffed pornography company, Deaf Bunny, aims to provide those with a hearing handicap an alternative for video erotica. Using subtitles, sign language, cartoonish thought bubbles, full audio and other technological wizardry, Deaf Bunny’s films offer access into the context of the storyline for both the impaired and unimpaired viewer. The article includes an interview with founder Dino Capone that elucidates some of the intricacies involved in making adult movies for the deaf.

Being hearing impaired myself, I have to say that this certainly piques my curiosity. There’s no harm in picking up a copy of Naughty Deaf Roommates… if I do happen to, I’ll strongly consider writing a review for you all. But don’t hold your breath.
