We all know that kids pick their noses. Hell, I bet some of you are picking your nose right now. It's something that humans do with regularity – after all, sometimes a Kleenex just doesn't provide the leverage needed to dislodge the most stubborn nose goblins.
But children of the world – heed this warning! One of the worst times you can choose to pick your own brains is when you are in a promotional photo for a tourism brochure. A pamphlet promoting a popular tourist spot in Suffolk, England, depicts young children in their Easter costumes. Completing the cute holiday snapshot is a young girl digging for gold.
The pamphlet has been withdrawn, because one council member claimed that “it does not represent our youth in the best light.” Even though the idea was to have a realistic rather than staged photo, the nose-picking incident will not be tolerated by the pamphlet's publishers. The moral of the story is: it's a good idea to keep your fingers out of your nasal cavity when cameras are around.
