There's nothing quite like waking up in a tent in the middle of a farm next to a snoring man.
After a long day of travel Wednesday, we spent most of Thursday at the campsite, meeting our neighbors, fending off souvenir vendors, and relaxing.
When we finally trekked down to Centeroo, I was overwhelmed. From the Mushroom (already teeming with bathing hippies) to the Silent Disco, there's an anticipatory energy that made the hairs on my neck stand on end.
BONUS: Festival food review: the Gyros The chicken gyros I had at the festival were absolutely delicious. With a fair portion of tomatoes (sans E. coli), onions, tender meat and plenty of tzatziki sauce, it was the perfect confection to refuel before heading out to see more concerts. [Bonnaroo]
