Those were all pretty cool to come home to, but the icing on the cake was coming home to my own bathroom. One of the most important lessons I learned at Bonnaroo? Never, EVER take your bathroom for granted.
Never, EVER take your bathroom for granted.Despite how much sense it makes for someone to get back from Bonnaroo and sleep for two days, it just doesn't work that way. Getting back to the real world gave me a spark of energy I couldn't ignore. For the first time in years, email was innovative. The idea of watching television intrigued me. But the idea of listening to recorded music frustrated me. How could I go back to that after hearing such incredible live music for four days?
I started unpacking and thinking about how, despite the fun I had, there was no way I would ever go back to Bonnaroo. Screw that place. A good portion of the time I was there I was absolutely miserable, dirty, disgusted, cramped, anxious, and exhausted, and no matter how much fun I had, there's no way I'll ever go through that again.

Ok, this is a big if, but IF somehow Justin and Adam manage to drag me back to Bonnaroo next year, I should probably get a solar shower. Those things looked pretty cool.

Man, this time a week ago, we were settling into camp at Bonnaroo. That night was pretty crazy – really good times.
